Client reports a good week with only one crying episode. Started a new hobby class and reports feeling nervous but excited. Sleeping 7 hours nightly. Appetite normal. States 'I think I am starting to figure out who I am outside of that relationship.'

Session via telehealth. Client appeared bright, with improved affect and spontaneous smiling. Speech animated. Made self-deprecating humor that showed increased psychological flexibility. No safety concerns.

Significant improvement in adjustment symptoms. Client is transitioning from acute grief response to active rebuilding phase. New social engagement represents important behavioral activation.
